Note: Tryst's RockBox will be temporarily off-air till the first week of December due to Tryst concentrating on his studies (good luck Tryst!). In the meantime his co-presenter Tiger Tom will be broadcasting an electroic dance show from 8pm till 10pm!
Tryst's Rockbox broadcast every Tuesday from the University of Guildford where they use the Guildford Student Union's radio facilities (GU2) to professionally preach the sound of rock! Tryst has a lot of experience in radio, having broadcast on GU2 before turning his sights to doing a rock show for furs to head bash to.
Each week brings a blast of solid guitar rock music, whether it be classic, hard or heavy, with classics from the likes of Iron Maiden, Rage Against the Machines and Queens of the Stone Age regularly cropping up in the playlist each week.
In between the music comes the banter with Tryst and his fellow co-presenter Tiger Tom; hobbying photographer and occasional electro dance DJ. Together they cover topics like nuclear reactors, the going ons in and around Guildford and being startled about how they have run out of background bed music while they were talking.
